The Kapālama Kai Street Fest will include the top food trucks, music, cultural activities and games for the whole family.
The purpose of the event is to bring the kamaʻāina to the area, experience the possibilities of the Kapālama Kai vision, gain community input for the revitalization of the district, and celebrate the rich history and diversity of the area.
If you would like to reserve a booth to share information and/or sell products, please visit insert link. There are a limited number of booths available, and reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
To prepare for the event, please be advise of the following schedule:
• Sept. 5 – Closure barricades deployed on Kohou Street and Kaumuali‘i Street
• Sept. 6 at 3 p.m. – There will be no street parking
• Sept. 7 at 8:30 a.m. – Closure of roads at Kohou Street and Kaumuali‘i Street
• Sept. 8 at 12 a.m. – Roads reopen

PAPERWORK: Please have all necessary paperwork for your booth including but not limited to a GE License, Temporary Food Establishment permit, etc.
SAFETY: Please have proper safety equipment including your proper paperwork, hand washing stations, and Fire Extinguishers (with tags or receipt). Everyone must have a 2A:10BC fire extiguisher. Any vendor using grease frying (pans and deep frying) MUST have K-Class at minimum as well as a 2A:10BC.
PROPANE TANK: If used with a food truck, it must be outside of the food truck and secured properly to prevent physical damage and must be 5 feet away from any exterior source of ignition.
GASOLINE: Gasoline must be in self closing safety gasoline can. Safety can must be separated from an open flame by a minimum distance of 10 feet.
COOKING: Solid fuel, open flame, or deep frying cooking shall not take place under any tent or building overhang. (must have K-Class extinguisher)
EXTENSION CORDS: May not cross over the sidewalk. If you do have to cross over the sidewalk you must provide a cable cover or covering.
